Venue and event bookings, with the date actually held

Packages, date holds and deposits for banquet halls, lawns and event companies. On the roadmap, not built yet — but the ticketing half already ships.

Not available yet. Event & venue booking app is on the 10mins build roadmap and is not something you can launch today. Everything described below is planned, not shipped. If you need to be live this week, the apps listed at the bottom of this page are built and taking signups now.

What Event & venue booking app will be

A venue's worst day is discovering two families believe they have the same date. Provisional holds are the whole business and they are almost always kept in a diary. The planned event app makes the hold real: a date is held for a stated period against a deposit, packages are priced rather than negotiated from scratch each time, and an expired hold releases itself instead of quietly blocking a Saturday. On the roadmap, not built. Banquet halls, lawns and event companies looking for what VenueLook or WedMeGood list them on, but owned, find this page.

Planned: date holds that expire

A provisional hold with a real expiry, so an abandoned enquiry releases the date instead of blocking it indefinitely.

Planned: packages

Priced packages — hall, catering, decoration — rather than a quote rebuilt from scratch every enquiry.

Planned: deposits and balances

A deposit that confirms the date and a balance tracked against the event.

What you can launch instead, today

Anything sold by the seat or the slot

The ticket booking app sells cinema seats, bus and train departures, flights, ferries, concerts, sports and park entry, with real seat maps and an offline gate scanner. If your business sells a fixed number of places at a fixed time, it already fits.

If you sell entry to the event

The ticket booking app is live now and sells seats and standing zones with an offline gate scanner. For a ticketed event rather than a hired venue, it is already built.

For weddings specifically

The wedding app ships today with per-ceremony RSVPs, schedules and a shared photo album — aimed at the couple or their planner rather than the venue.

Questions people ask

Can I take venue bookings on 10mins today?

Not with date holds and packages — that is on the roadmap. If you sell entry to events, the ticket booking app is live with seat maps, standing zones and an offline gate scanner. If you plan weddings, the wedding app is live too.

Why are date holds the hard part?

Because a hold that never expires is indistinguishable from a booking, and it silently blocks your best dates. Making a hold expire and release itself correctly is the difference between a real system and a diary.

When will it launch?

No committed date. It sits in the events group on the roadmap, which the ticket booking app already opened.

What will it cost?

Nothing upfront and a percentage of tracked bookings, with customers paying you through your own gateway.

How would this differ from listing on VenueLook or WedMeGood?

A listing site rents you enquiries and keeps the relationship. The planned app is your own booking system — your packages, your date holds, your deposits — so an enquiry becomes a confirmed date inside your own business. Listing sites remain useful for reach; this is about what happens after someone finds you.

Something else can be live today

This one is still being built. Thirteen other apps on 10mins are not, and they launch in the same ten minutes.
