10mins Platform Terms for Cab & Ride Operators
1. Parties and what 10mins does
These terms are between Ironbay Innovations Pvt Ltd (“10mins”), 14/102 Malhar Sahara Estate, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, and the business that registers a cab or ride service on the platform (“you”, the “Operator”). By opening your admin panel you accept them; your acceptance is recorded with the version, date and time.
10mins provides software only: a booking app for your riders, an app for your drivers, and an admin panel. 10mins is not a transport operator, aggregator, carrier or employer, does not hold any fare, and is not a party to any ride, rental, courier or driver relationship.
2. You are the operator and aggregator
- You alone offer the service to the public. You are responsible for every ride, rental and delivery booked through your app, including its safety, price, tax and legality.
- You must hold every licence, registration and permission the law of your State requires, including — where it applies — an aggregator licence under the Motor Vehicle Aggregator Guidelines 2025 and State rules, and the permits needed for the vehicles you offer. You must not run the service where you do not hold what is required.
- You must keep GST and other tax registrations that apply, and you are responsible for GST on your services, including where the law makes you liable under section 9(5) CGST Act.
- You must display your licence number and keep your Legal & Policies details accurate.
3. Drivers and vehicles
- You decide whether drivers are your employees or independent partners and you take the legal consequences of that choice, including labour, social-security and insurance duties.
- You must check each driver's licence, vehicle documents, insurance, permit, fitness and — where required — police verification before allowing them to take rides, and must keep them current. The software helps by recording documents and expiry dates; it does not verify them for you.
- You must maintain the insurance the law requires for passengers, drivers and vehicles.
4. Safety
- You must have a process to respond to an SOS and a safety complaint promptly and to cooperate with the police. The software sends the SOS to you; responding is your job.
- You must suspend any driver or rider you reasonably believe is a danger, and report serious incidents to the authorities as the law requires.
5. Money
- 10mins never holds your fares. Riders pay you or the payment provider you choose. You settle with your drivers. The settlement ledger in the app is a record only.
- If you use the 10mins payment gateway, a payment partner may route a share of each payment to 10mins as the fee agreed, with the rest going to your bank account.
- 10mins bills its platform fee as shown in the admin panel. Failure to pay may suspend access.
6. Riders' and drivers' documents and terms
10mins supplies templates for the rider and driver documents. 10mins' clauses in them cannot be edited; you may add terms after them. Where an addition conflicts with 10mins' clauses, 10mins' clauses prevail. The documents are drafted as support, are not legal advice, and you should have them reviewed by your own lawyer.
7. Data
You are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data of your riders and drivers. 10mins is your Data Processor under the Data Processing Addendum. You must have a lawful basis for collecting location and identity data, and must answer your riders' and drivers' requests.
8. Responsibility and indemnity
- You are responsible for claims by riders, drivers, regulators and third parties arising from the operation of your service. You will indemnify 10mins and its directors and staff against claims, fines and costs arising from your service, your drivers or vehicles, your breach of law or these terms, or content you add.
- 10mins provides the software “as is”, without warranty that it will be uninterrupted or fit for a purpose beyond its documentation. 10mins' total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid it in the 3 months before the claim, except where the law does not allow it. 10mins is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss from a licence being refused or withdrawn.
9. Suspension and ending
10mins may suspend a service that appears unlawful or unsafe, or on a court or authority's direction. You may leave at any time; you can export your data before you go. Sections that by their nature survive, do.
10. Law
Indian law governs. The courts at Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any right that cannot be excluded. Notices go to contact@10mins.co.
