What Carpooling app will be
Carpooling works where the same people make the same journey at the same time — an office park, a campus, a corridor between two cities — and fails as a general consumer product. The planned app targets the former: recurring routes, seats in a specific car on a specific morning, and a cost split settled in the app rather than argued about at the end of the month. On the roadmap, not built. Searches for a carpooling app like BlaBlaCar or Quick Ride, usually for an office park or a fixed corridor, land here.

What you can launch instead, today
If you run the cars, not the pool
The cab and ride app is live today with your own fares, your own drivers and live dispatch. For an office contract or a fixed shuttle route it may be a better fit than carpooling anyway.
Anything sold by the seat or the slot
The ticket booking app sells cinema seats, bus and train departures, flights, ferries, concerts, sports and park entry, with real seat maps and an offline gate scanner. If your business sells a fixed number of places at a fixed time, it already fits.
On-demand and local services
Cab and ride hailing, parcel delivery, home services, food delivery and licensed liquor delivery are all built and taking signups. Each launches in about ten minutes with no upfront cost.
Questions people ask
Can I launch a carpooling app today?
No. It is on the roadmap and not built. If you operate the vehicles yourself rather than matching private drivers, the cab and ride app is live now and handles fixed routes and contracts well.
How is it different from the cab app?
In a cab app one party is a driver providing a service for a fare you set. In carpooling both parties are travelling anyway and the money is a cost split, which changes the pricing, the liability and the matching entirely.
When will it launch?
No committed date. The queue follows demand, which the button on this page records.
What will it cost?
The standard model — nothing upfront and a small percentage of what is actually settled through the app.
How would this differ from BlaBlaCar or Quick Ride?
Those are open consumer networks matching strangers across a whole country. The planned app is for a closed group that already shares a journey — one office park, one campus, one corridor — where matching is easy because the routes repeat and trust already exists. That makes it a far smaller product to run and a far more reliable one to travel on.
