On the roadmap

Rent out equipment, gear or anything else

Availability by date, deposits, condition on return and damage claims. On the roadmap, not built yet.

  • Deposits planned
  • Not available today

Not available yet. Rental marketplace app is on the 10mins build roadmap and is not something you can launch today. Everything described below is planned, not shipped. If you need to be live this week, the apps listed at the bottom of this page are built and taking signups now.

What Rental marketplace app will be

Renting is selling the same item over and over, which makes two things load-bearing: knowing exactly which dates an item is free, and being able to prove what condition it came back in. The planned rental app is built around those — a calendar per item, a deposit held against damage, and photographs at handover and return that settle a dispute without either side taking the other's word. On the roadmap, not built yet. People looking to rent out equipment, furniture or gear the way Furlenco and Rentomojo do, at their own scale, find this page.

Planned: availability per item

A calendar per item rather than a stock count, because the same camera cannot go out twice on one weekend.

Planned: deposits

A deposit held for the rental period and released on a clean return.

Planned: condition on return

Photographs at handover and at return attached to the rental, which is what settles a damage argument.

What you can launch instead, today

Photo proof already ships

The courier and delivery app takes before-and-after photos on every job, and the home services app does the same on every booking. The mechanism a rental business needs is already built and working elsewhere.

Selling products directly

The online store ships today with a full catalogue, checkout, GST invoices and shipping — and takes zero commission on your sales.

Anything sold by the seat or the slot

The ticket booking app sells cinema seats, bus and train departures, flights, ferries, concerts, sports and park entry, with real seat maps and an offline gate scanner. If your business sells a fixed number of places at a fixed time, it already fits.

Questions people ask

Can I launch a rental app today?

No. It is on the roadmap and not built. If your rentals are short and local, the courier delivery app can handle the movement half — including the before-and-after photos that matter for condition disputes — while you track availability separately.

Why is availability harder than stock?

Because a rental item is unavailable for a range of dates rather than simply reduced by one. A stock count says how many you have; a rental calendar says which specific days each item is free, which is a different data shape.

When will it launch?

No committed date. It sits in the marketplace group on the roadmap.

Would deposits be handled?

That is the plan — a deposit held for the period and released on a clean return, collected through your own payment gateway as with every 10mins app.

Can I build a rental app like Furlenco or Rentomojo today?

No, it is on the roadmap and not built, mainly because availability across a date range is a different data shape from a stock count. The photo-proof mechanism a rental business needs for condition disputes is already built and working in the live delivery and home services apps.

Other apps you can launch on 10mins

Something else can be live today

This one is still being built. Thirteen other apps on 10mins are not, and they launch in the same ten minutes.
